COUNTER WATCH
- Sasini Group – 30,300 shares were traded today with an overall decrease of KES 0.15 to close at KES 11.50. They are the only coffee producers that are listed on the securities exchange. News on the increased coffee price by KES 880 per bag seems to have had no immediate positive effect on the share’s price. There was a small bid-ask spread from which the investors could make money today from this counter.
- Standard Chartered Bank – The counter saw 8,900 shares traded today with the average price of KES 209.00, an increase of KES 1 from yesterday’s price. The share has shown fair stability since announcement of the 2nd rights issue that is to commence on 9th October.
