UNIPESA has announced plans to open up more UNIPESA kiosks this week. The announcement was made on twitter on Friday via this tweet:

For those who might have not heard about UNIPESA, it is a self-service payment system that enables you to settle your utility bills, Internet connection bills, satellite TV monthly subscription, and buying airtime conveniently from a UNIPESA payment terminal. How the payment system works:

Take for instance you want to buy airtime from a UNIPESA terminal:

• Step 1: From a UNIPESA terminal, choose your mobile service provider( You can currently buy Airtel, Orange or Yu airtime)
• Step 2: Key in your mobile number you intend to top up
• Step 3: Confirm the number
• Step 4: Insert your banknotes into the money acceptor carefully, one by one.
• Step 5: Push “PAY” button.
• Step 6: Get a receipt
• Step 7: You will get a confirmation SMS when your payment is done

UNIPESA payment Terminals are currently available at:

• Cameo Casino (Kenyatta Avenue)
• View Park Towers (Uhuru High Way)
• Lonrho House (Between Standard Street and Kaunda Street)
• Capital Centre (Mombasa Road)
• Hurligham Shopping Centre
