There appears to have been a problem with M-Pesa systems since yesterday as most users have complained of not having received money sent to them through the service.

By this morning the problem appeared to have been resolved though a few users are still experiencing long delays in their transactions.

Safaricom, through their twitter handle, admitted to having an issue with M-Pesa and have since apologized to those experiencing the problem and has assured them that their technical team is sorting out the problem.
