The NSE All Share Index was down 1% and the NSE 20 Share Index retreated 0.4%. Equity turnover soared 118.7% due to improved volumes traded on most large caps.
Up 35.3%, Crown Berger was the leading gainer riding on its 2:1 bonus issue announcement.
Transcentury topped the losers list touching an all-time low of KES 13.80. Declining for the second week in a row, National Bank was down 6.8%. Housing Finance shed 3% following the books closure for divided.
For the second week in a row, Safaricom was the leading mover and had the highest net outflows. The telecom shed 2% despite posting impressive FY15 results. KCB retreated 3.2%with investors not impressed by 2015 1Q performance. Touching an all-year low of KES 45.50, Equity Bank was the worst performing top mover.
