What You’ll Be Discussing with a Bank CEO

Have a one on one online chat with Martin Oduor, CEO, Kenya Commercial Bank at 10:00 AM, today, 19 July. He will be discussing about Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) then later join Frank Ireri, CEO, Housing Finance, at 2:00 PM to discuss about Mortgages and Real Estate Finance.

This marks the second event of “my 15 min chat with a bank CEO”. The first event was held on 12 July, featuring Kenya Bankers Association (KBA) Chairman, Richard Etemesi, who discussed on interest rates. Speaking after spending approximately 45 minutes chatting with more than 40 online participants, Mr. Etemesi said, "This has been an extremely interesting and eye opening experience… I do hope to be able to engage in a similar forum soon.”

“my 15 minutes chat with a bank CEO” is a 4 weeks online engagement forum between the public and top minds in the banking sector that aim’s at increasing awareness and knowledge about the banking sector. The online event has been organized by the bankers association (KBA) as part of its wider plan to closely engage stakeholders, who include the banking public.

The forum will host various bank Chief Executives Officers and other industry players who will be tackling various topics related to banking. During the sessions, the public will have the opportunity to be part of the conversation through commenting and questions which will be responded to by the relevant CEO hosts.
