Would you pay KES 65,000 to watch the Africa Cup of Nations live from Johannesburg, South Africa? What if the travel package included a return flight, transfer fees and accommodation for 2 nights, including bed and breakfast?
Well, Travel Shoppe Limited and Global Star have teamed up with a number of Hotels and Holiday Inns to give football fans a chance to watch some of the continent’s best athletes battle it out in this year’s Africa Cup of Nations.
If you plan on getting tickets then the time to act is now. According to CAF, the representative body for the Africa Cup of Nations, over 359,000 tickets have already been sold. This represents 42% of the event’s stadia capacity.
It may be important to note that the deals do not include flight taxes, match tickets and transport to and from the stadium. They do, however, include a meet and greet upon arrival as well as transport from airport to the hotel and back upon departure.
