Driving License holders across the country can now renew their driving licenses at any National Bank of Kenya (NBK) branch countrywide.  Kenya Revenue Authority has partnered with National Bank whose widespread branch network will bring the service closer to the people.

National Bank of Kenya has branches across the country with presence in every major town. This will be a convenience to drivers who had to travel to the few designated KRA centres or to Nairobi to renew their licenses.

"We are trying to use the available technology to take these services closer to the people. Often, upcountry drivers use expired licenses because of the difficult they face in renewing them." An official at KRA told PesaTalk.

The move will reduce queues at KRA's Times Tower headquarters where drivers from all over the country come to renew their drivers licenses or pick new ones.
