Mobile operator yuMobile has today unveiled a new campaign as part of the firm’s brand strategy to intensify its market reach, particularly to the youth and youthful consumer.
The campaign is dubbed “Power in my pocket”, which yuMobile says validates the brand’s commitment to consumers – who, ultimately, have the power in their hands to enjoy the best services at good value.

As he unveiled the campaign, yuMobile’s Country Manager Madhur Taneja noted that yuMobile continues to grow and more so, the yuCash agent network - which is over 6,000 agents strong.
Bonuses and Incentive
The brand campaign is unveiled at the same time with subscribers earning a 25% bonus on airtime top-ups and also an SMS bundle which will see subscribers send free SMS’s across networks. The network enables its subscribers to make free on-net calls on a small daily subscription.
All yuCash subscribers can now earn a 50% bonus on all yuCash top-ups and at the same time, Taneja revealed that now with yuCash, there are zero fees for sending money across any networks.
We constantly seek ways to remove barriers that consumers may sometimes face with mobile money services. By removing the transaction fees (for sending money across networks), we are giving the consumer more power to transact without worrying about additional charges." Teneja said.
The campaign is expected to run through to March, 2013.
